Two and a half minutes to go, 'Cats up by one, and the arena sounds quieter than the LRC on a Tuesday night. Pretty sure I can hear the cash registers in the team store echoing.

That dead in the BEC tonight, or everyone in butt pucker mode?

Happy that the Cats won tonight, but that was closer than it needed to be.

Sweep!!

Huntsville always plays us tough, I think the only "blowout" was the very first matchup in 2004 that was 7-2. Every game since has been close.

The PWR doesn't matter this time of the year. NMU beat UAH and moved to 13th or 14th.

Let's pay closer attention in February.

And Loughran is #2 in the country of goals scored; de Mey is #4. Northern is tied for second in terms of goals scored as a team.

And we wondered who was going to step up this year.

NMU needs quality non-conference wins for their PairWise Rankings at the end of the year.... Cornell will be another big non-conference series for NMU when they travel out there on January 17th & 18th....

But still, winning games will take care of the PWR. You know what will render the PWR unnecessary? A nice 5 game winning streak in March.
