And look at the LAD record, especially the lead in the division. That's just sick.

According to Elias, if the Twins capture a Wild Card spot, they would be the first team in the history of baseball to lose 100+ games in one season and make the playoffs the following season. The Twins are currently 2 games ahead of the Angels for the last Wild Card spot with 17 games left to play. They get Detroit 7 times, but also have to play at Cleveland (x3) and New York (x3), to go along with their current 4 game series at home against Toronto. 11 wins should almost certainly get the job done, with 9-10 potentially being good enough to take the last spot (or at least force a playoff). Of course, even if they do get there (fivethirtyeight currently gives them a 63% chance), they would likely be playing 1 game at Yankee Stadium for a shot to play Cleveland...so I probably won't be making any World Series plans this year. :p:D:D

Indians rally in 9th, win in 10th for 22 in a row. Browns have won 22 since Oct. 23, 2011.
