2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season: Non-Minnesotans arguing about the weather...

Maybe God hates Trump. He has a mansion on St. Martin -- Next up is Mar-Lago.... Don't be surprised if Trump Winery is later in the week!

According to those who are sommeliers, the winery is pretty good.

If the models are to be believed, Savannah and Hilton Head are in the #2 US bullseye.

The island Baruba looks like it got flattened, While The St. Maarten airport is reported destroyed.

A quick google search turns up dozens of horrid reviews.

The best review I read was, "It wasn't offensive."

Sis is hearing that people who are leaving now can expect up to 50 hours on the road to get to Georgia.

Last time I drove from the line down to her place, it seemed like 50 hours, but was only 7.

Boring *** state to drive through too. Might as well be Iowa.

After a while I always get to the point where I'd kill to see a hill or even a small rise that isn't a garbage dump.

seriously. any spot in fla you want to reach is best done via plane at night.

It's funny you should say this. I've driven extremely long distances through about 90% of the country, and driving through GA and SC was probably the most boring driving I have ever done. It's just you and the semis and fast food exits. There is nothing else in those states.

In Flatland (KS, NE) the very flatness of the landscape is so alien it's not monotonous (if you're visiting -- if you live there it must be hell). Plus in KS the wind gusts are insane so you spend all your time fighting to keep your car on the highway. And there are a thousand sleazy strip club and porn store signs to amuse you because, you know, The Moral Heartland.

Being a bit of a weather junkie when weather turns bad, I miss the Weather Channel on FIOS. Found an online service called Weather Nation on my ROKU. It's not bad.
