2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

Re: 2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

I saw Watt's only goal last night made the ESPN Sportscenter Top 10 plays this AM.
It was quite the snipe over the goalies shoulder into the upper net.

Re: 2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

Mercyhurst leads Syracuse 1-0 after one period, on a Tanskanen goal. Nuutinen is in the game, surely her last before leaving for the Olympics. Mercyhurst is dominating in shots, but Syracuse goalie Abby Miller had two big two on one saves to end the period.

RMU leads Penn State 2-1 late in the first. RMU is without Brittany Howard again, so this would be a good day for Penn State to beat them.

Re: 2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

Clarkson 1 Colgate 1 after 1 period
CCT - Gabel PP goal at the goal line bangs in a rebound between the goal post and a small opening from a bent knee by Vandyk.
Colgate - Zafuto PP on a snipe from in front picks the upper corner of the net over Tileys shoulder.

Clarkson 4 Colgate 2 after 2
2nd period scoring
Clarkson - Giguere, McGill and Titus
Colgate - Sullivan

Sullivan picks the upper corner of the net. A nice snipe.

Giguere on a turn over with a spin around shot from in front along the ice. Seemed to surprise Vandyk.
McGill on a shot from the faceoff circle that Vandyk wants back.
Titus gets a loose puck in front on a bad give away by Colgate and puts it in with Vandyk sprawled on the ice out of the goal.

Re: 2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

Clarkson 5 Colgate 3 Final

Colgate with a pp goal looked like it went off the rear end of Gate player in front of the net to make it 4-3.
Gabel with an ENG with 6 sec to play.

Re: 2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

Vermont 4 - Northeastern 3

Eve-Audrey Picard completes her hat trick with the game winning goal with 11.7 seconds to go. Thriller at Gutterson.

Re: 2017-2018 D1 Women's Hockey Scores

Wisconsin maintains a two goal lead, heading into the 3rd up 3-1. Their third goal was a little fluky, deflecting in off a St. Cloud defender on a one-on-one.

Nope. She's not even in Canada's development program right now, which is why she wasn't on the Nations Cup roster.

The development team finished 5th in the Nations Cup and USA was not even there. What the heck is hockey Canada thinking? It’s bad enough she is not on the Olympic team but for her to not be on the development team is crazy especially when 4 other 1999’s were there and she is much better than those 4.

You're definitely preaching to the choir lol

Now seems as good a time as any to inform you all that I'll be doing color commentary for both semifinal games of the Women's Beanpot on ESPN3 this Tuesday and I'm wicked excited about it.

Nice...I'll be looking forward to that. And btw, try to contain your excitement over a certain freshman phenom, if you can...:D
