BC up 3-1 on Providence in the first. Game is on ESPN 3. Daryl Watts just turned a harmless looking play into a goal, skating up the left side and letting loose a snap shot from the hashmarks of the left circle that beat the Providence goalie glove side. She is just unreal.

1-2--3 already and we're like 10 minutes into the game. 11-13--24 on the season in 8 games :eek:

Also that goal was nothing compared to Lonergan's from earlier. Blew past two defensemen like they were traffic cones.

I'd give PC's goalie most of the credit for that one. On the replay, the shot was fluttering. Lonergan's goal was sick; still think she's the best player in college hockey this year.

Yep, pretty talented bunch. That defensive zone turnover on the second Providence goal though, mama mia. You don't clear it up the slot when you have no one in front of you.

BC up 5-3 on PC after 2.

I've been pretty darn impressed with PC, they can skate and shoot. I think they're definitely the best team we've played so far.

Got the heavy metal going...Learned a lot about how the Edmonton Oilers season is going...Dang...I should tune in more often to the pregame broadcast of MSU games. :)

Mercyhurst wins at Penn State 3-1.
Robert Morris wins at Lindenwood 6-0.

Kolstad, man, she's a weirdo. Only her 4th penalty of the year I think. Last year also I don't think she actually took that many penalties. But she's dirty as s**t. The penalties she takes are, as you say, ridiculous. On this one I think she hit Emily Brown 2 or 3 times before she got to Peters and hit Peters.

Yup...She got a two-fer on that one as both Brown and Peters wound up in the back of the net from being checked. Just no place for that in women's hockey.
