The one thing I don't like about this year's schedule is getting the 2 weakest teams last. Going from Swizterland and Denmark to a Group B opponent could be a harsh jump in competition.

Yes however the US should be on track to play the #3 team from the other division which means no Finland or Russia most likely as long as Finland beats the Czech's. I'll take that.

I'll take the Czech's as a quarterfinal opponent.

Would have mattered if Canada beat the Swiss outright. But the two-way tiebreak goes to the match between the tied teams; we would take it vs. Canada, but lose it vs. Sweden. Canada can only get to 8, and Sweden's already on 9.
