Because it's all about promoting us natl kids for draft. Russia is a big strong older team
It always used to be all about the age, this year being 96's
Remember when maybe a shroeder would be an under aged kid, now we have entire lines being year+ younger
You can't tell me we don't have any 96 D better than some of the 97's who just stand there and watch the Russians hack away
I hope USA wins and can't stomach the russians(love watching their skill and composure) but it has to be s team loaded with 96's and maybe a 97 or 2, maybe
Not all about justifying their nauseating natl program
Feel bad Ron Wilson and his staff couldn't just pick their own team

As is typical. The US always saves their worst game to play the Russians in the medal round. Any other team they show up against, the Russians they just find a way to stink.

I've only seen the 3rd, but very low urgency from the Americans.
