Bemidji caught watching the puck instead of the slot. Bang over. Great game. Rapids still has a hill to climb with the remaining field, though.

Klatt and O'Leary have both been head coaches in games I've seen. Any other former Gopher players coaching teams in the tournament this year?

Wow, just wow. Incredible last 5 minutes. That last minute was intense.

VERY VERY happy to have the Grand Rapids band on our end of the ice.

They haven't. It's only their 4th trip to state.

I'm not thrilled by Breck v Hermantown either. Only reason to watch that is to see how Hermantown blows it again.

If the MSHSL moved the private schools to their own tournament, would there be a hue and cry against it? How many schools would that be?

I don't think they should do it. I like to rag on them because of their advantages, but hey none of then made the AA tournament this year.

I really see them doing that. Single A aside, private schools have had their time, but they've been far from dominate. In the early 2000s people were basically wanting to hang Holy Angels, now they haven't been at state in 11 years.

Hill-Murray aside, who's been a tournament regular since the 70s, there's been no private school that regularly makes it.

It looks like Hermantown will break the streak today. 4-0 with 10 min left in the 2nd.

Interesting on the video board: Hermantown lost 6 straight in the title game, Breck has never lost in the title game.

Hasn't helped Breck, that Hermantown has been getting all the bounces.

Odds makers have made the Buffalo Bills Super Bowl favorites in 2017.
