2016 MN Boys Hockey Tourney- Let the Good Locks Flow

Re: 2016 MN Boys Hockey Tourney- Let the Good Locks Flow

Barry's cheeks are red, and he's either slurring his words or holding the mic too close to his mouth. Do they sell beer at the X during the tournament?

He's enjoying himself.

Someone on GPL said he was drinking at Reids at noon.

So Bemidji guy knocks down the GR guy after the whistle, but then the GR guy goes to the box giving Bemidji the PP. That was the least likely outcome of the situation and yet there you have it.

Bemidji, saved by the clock.

We're all the way behind the other goalie. No replay so far at the X. Was it obvious? Refs were quick on the call.

The goal light clearly came on, which I think it can't if time is expired. Did the goal judge push the button early?

Must have. The clock hit 0.0 with the puck still on the shooter's stick about two feet in front of the crease.

They showed the overhead camera and the clock. It was close, but the replay obviously showed the clock at 0.0 and the puck was not in the net yet.

On the replay, the puck is still on the player's stick at the top of the crease when time expires. It was the official over-the-net camera with the clock inserted, so it's the same shot the refs have. Clearly no goal. Still a pretty play.

Nice PPG to tie the game at 2. Pollock, the shooter, made an amazing shot when you look at how much that puck was jumping.

Buckle in boys, we might be seeing a classic in the making here.

The Lumberjacks are going on the PP again. Watching this game, it's amazing the calls that go free while the calls that are being made are not what I'm expecting. A guy "checks" another guy with a glove shot to the facemask of his target that disrupts a potential scoring opportunity and there's no call. Then they call what I thought was an incidental trip behind the net. There's no consistency in these calls, no rhyme or reason for the ones being made.

We had a perfect view of the shot over the cross-bar. It was like slow motion

Prep45/GrandStadium/VerizonDirect need to be shot. They obviously underestimated the amount of streaming viewers and/or did not provide enough bandwidth.
