2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

What is the prognosis for losses this year? Will they break 100? 110?

I tried to follow the winter trades/FA pickups. The twins did NOTHING. Does the management just not give a S*** about keeping fans happy? They are just dreadful and are having a terrible year drawing fans. 25000 for a Yankees game?

What in the world can this team do other than somebody who actually cares buying up the team?

Sorry for the drunken rant but this is unacceptable.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Hopefully they'll break 102 losses which would make them the worst team in Minnesota Twins history. They'd have to lose 114 to be the worst team in franchise history...

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

This state was suckered into getting the Pohlad's a stadium.
They got what they wanted and now want to keep their money.
Supporting this team is a lost cause till they are gone.

Meh they opened the season at $106 m payroll. White Sox were $113, Royals $132, Indians $75, and Tigers $195 m.

I don't think they are spending that low, just poorly.

They do spend poorly and when 45million is in 3 players who are playing, led by Mauer and another 15 is in 2 who aren't playing because of injury, the numbers are skewed.
IMO, the Royals payroll is far more balanced.
They don't want to spend to compete IMO, and if they don't, they should get out.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Woo hoo, indeed. They beat other bottom dwellers. Let's start getting excited when they beat second to last place teams. Then we'll know there are big improvements on the way.

Arcia traded to Tampa for PTBNL.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Twins go yard 6 times today and Duffey pitches an 8 inning gem as the Twins climb to 24-51 beating the Yanks 7-1. Did not see that coming.

Arcia goes 3-4 with a homer and 3 RBI today for the Rays. Ortiz 2.0?
