Having just played Notre Dame, they do the same thing. The ND highlights package shows everything right down to shots on net and saves by the Irish, but doesn't even acknowledge the other team was even in the building. The only way you know is seeing ND fall farther and farther behind on the on-screen scoreboard with each successive highlight. Every time they showed an Irish highlight, the MTU score was higher than the last one, but you will never know how it happened thanks to their editors. What's up with the highlights that Bowling Green puts out to the WCHA website? No highlights of the BSU goals?

Bowling Green did include the BSU goals in Saturday's highlight package. So, they did make amends, even though I was able to see those goals since that game was on TV here in Minnesota.....
A week later, I'm still not seeing how this is possible. There are 9 teams that I calculate can still pass BSU in the standings (as unlikely as it may be for BSU to not score another point in the standings this season). So the WCHA Men's Facebook Page had a post on it last night stating that Bemidji has locked up a playoff spot...

BSU has 49 pts currently.
Best possible finishes of the current bottom three teams:
NMU 10+36=46 pts
UAA 16+36=52 pts
LSSU 19+36=55 pts
So unless they assumed everyone had already played 20 games, or that a win was only worth two points, I don't see how anyone has mathematically locked up a playoff spot. Am I missing something here?

Best possible finishes of the current bottom three teams:
NMU 10+36=46 pts
UAA 16+36=52 pts*
LSSU 19+36=55 pts*
* Not taking head to head games into consideration so maybe this is what they looked at? Best case scenario is that UAA/LSSU split their two games and wind up with 49 and 52 respectively. BSU has the tie breaker over everyone currently so that would make them 8th?

i was wrong: bemidji state's in the 2017 wcha playoffs. Save you a click: Because uaa, uaf, and lssu all play each other twice down the stretch, they can't all get past 49 points (bemidji's current level).
I hate everything.

UAA's last 8 games have all been in Alaska, 6 at home, 2 in Fairbanks. It looks impressive, and it's an improvement for sure, but it's not a clear indication of anything except "not bad at home."Well UAA is playing much better the last two or three weeks. Couldn't they have done this ooc instead of saving it up for now! I figure they make it in. LSSU needs to up their game if they want to make it and what's up with Ferris? NMU, seems like Hannoun has really helped your team.
I'd like to see our league do what they can to schedule ooc games later in the year going forward.
