Starting up the in-season thread with the season opener coming up this weekend.

As usual, curious how Lowell fans think they will finish in league and on the season this year. It's fun to go back and see how the team finishes compared to how we expect now. So please post your W-L-T for both HE and overall regular season.

I'm not going to go so far as to predict the W-L-T record, but I think the offensive will better this year and I'm not expecting a big drop off defensively. I think one of these 4 goalies will emerge and get the job done.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this team and think they can finish 2nd or 3rd in the league with another 20+ win campaign.

I hope so. It will be interesting to see who gets the start Friday night. I can't imagine much was decided yesterday.

It was interesting to see Jake Townsend playing forward yesterday.

Any word on Campbell?

Highlights and postgame presser

I'm happy they went back to Bob's calls for the goals as the highlight vid as opposed to what we had last season. Kinda wish the quality was better...

I agree about using Bob's call.

Thankfully the game didn't turn out like many this weekend. Several games were penalty filled affairs with plenty of cheap shots and game misconducts. It sounds like the Merrimack / UNB game was like a remake of Slap Shot.

I'm just glad each season that the team is able to escape the Canadian exhibition game injury-free as they tend to get rather chippy.

Usually is for him... the Patriots finish at the end of January and the Revs start in mid-March so we really only have him for 6 weeks. See, there's the part now for the rest of us and then there's the part for him in the next thread :p
