12 team tournament?

Is the CCC a viable hockey conference? (Should it be?)

Transfers in? Transfers out?

Anything more?

Didn't the CCC already have 7 teams between 2007 and 2011 (after Western New England joined but before NEC jumped ship), and didn't officially sponsor hockey then?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is CCC? Back in my father's day it was the Civilian Conservation Corps. Developed most of the State parks in Vermont and elsewhere.

Due to employee retirement, the Athletics Department at the University of Southern Maine (USM) invites applications for a full-time, 10 month (August to May) Head Coach-Men's Ice Hockey, Lecturer position, to begin in August 2015.

To ensure full consideration, materials should be submitted by March 5, 2015.

$55K is a pretty darn good starting salary in D-III.

True, but this also applies:

Our cost of living indices are based on a US average of 100. An amount below 100 means Middlebury, VT is cheaper than the US average. A cost of living index above 100 means Middlebury, VT is more expensive.

Overall, Middlebury, VT cost of living is 119.60.

Also here:

The cost of living in Middlebury is 5.2% greater than the Vermont average.
The cost of living in Middlebury is 15.7% greater than the national average.

Okay ... I don't claim to be a statistician, but if the cost of living index in Middlebury VT is 119.60, wouldn't the cost of living be 19.6% greater than the national average NOT 15.7% ?? Or do these two groups not use the same set of metrics to measure cost of living??

I wonder if one is measured by cost per city and the other is cost per capita, cost per city would mean NYC and Rochester would be worth just as much weight even though their populations are much different. Just speculation

Yes.

Relates, I guess, to the inning by inning score which would be a 3 x whatever table.

I've heard it used in bowling and billiards and in baseball to "frame a pitch" - to make it appear to have passed through the strike zone, this is a first for me, but I guess it is used in place of inning
