2) Wisconsin (WCHA GF/GA 22/0 and Overall 35/2 for #1)

3) Boston College (Cup Cake GF/GA 10/0, overall 32/10 and Carpenter/Skrupa lands them on this Island )

4) Clarkson (Cup Cake GF/GA 16/3 and overall 26/6 plus 2 wins at BU land them at the top of 4-8)

6) North Dakota (Shootout win and OT loss)
7) Harvard (Dropped them to here until they actually play)
8) Kendall Coyne U (The comeback kids so far this winter who score in bunches, GF 30, but also gives them up, GA 22, in smaller bunches.

Re: 2015-2016 USCHO Posters Poll

1) Minnesota -- Yikes

2) Wisconsin -- I keep waffling on which of these two teams to put 2nd. Wisconsin's schedule so far has been just awful, and they needed an empty net to put away St. Cloud. It's a virtual tie so far but I had to pick one. I'm going with the Badgers based on the fact that they haven't allowed a goal since game 2.
3) Boston College -- BC has this bizarre ability to look like crap when they don't care and yet still win by 6. Sunday was an example of that. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

4) Clarkson -- There is a very clear top 4 this year.

5) Harvard -- Might be a clear top 5 but we won't know for a while.

6) Bemidji State -- This weekend's series really put some separation between these two eh?
7) North Dakota -- ...Not

8) Quinnipiac -- Even if I wanted to count the tie to Western Ontario, I'd still have them 8th.

9) Penn State -- Union blows but Northeastern's going to have another good weekend to make up for losing to Lindenwood.
10) Northeastern -- That was a good sweep even if Mercyhurst isn't the Mercyhurst of old.

See ya never, BU.

.

UW was missing Nurse on Saturday, so they moved the 5th D over to wing on the 2nd line. The last D pair had never played together, one a true Fr and 1 a So who did not play much at all last year. Not that UW should not have still crushed them, I was bummed about the outcome. If UW's lineup was the usual lineup and still only won 2-0 I may have flipped BC and UW myself.

Come on man. lol
The Gophers have been without last year's No. 3 scorer every game so far. Just sayin'. ;)

Re: 2015-2016 USCHO Posters Poll

Arguing over who should be #2/#3 in October is comical.

I come here for the comical discussions, it's fun.

The Gophers have been without last year's No. 3 scorer every game so far. Just sayin'. ;)

The only point I was making is for that 1 game, it was jumbled up a bit, jumbled from the first 5 games and probably from what they were running in preseason camp, so it screwed up the chemistry for that 1 game. Missing someone for a whole season vs one game is not an equal comapro. It's apples to lag bolts.

Re: 2015-2016 USCHO Posters Poll

1> Minnesota - I think someone mentioned the twenty somethings for a first line moniker. The roaring twenties works as well.
2> Wisconsin - This is kind of a 1a, 1b thing with Minnesota right now. They seem that close.
3> BC - They are who they are and they can only hope that they get their shot at one of the western elite.
4> Clarkson - Positioning themselves nicely for a chance to win title number 2.
5> BSU - Overtime win > a shootout point
6> North Dakota - Shootout point < Overtime win
7> Harvard - Probably better than 7th but I guess time will tell.
8> Quinnipiac - Just seem to have a little more than the one-women show that is Northeastern
9> Northeastern - As Kendall Coyne goes. so goes Northeastern.
10> Colgate - Who knows at this point? They seem as worthy as any.

Yeah, what's with Hockey East scheduling the big matchups before Christmas this year? Two of the three BC/BU games are in November.
