We put a 6-spot on him with that same defense in front of him. The truth revealed itself when he went to Michigan as the #1 guy coming in, and promptly laid an egg.

Trouba was something else, even back then. Wow.

just pretty funny how the experts/scouts can be soooooooooooooooo of the mark..Well I am sure he will get his fair share of rubber this yr:eek:

I had a feeling Rutledge might end up on a D3 roster when his Junior eligibility expired.

2 things in his defense:

- He is from the Chicagoland area, so Aurora doesn't seem completely off the wall.
- He did have eye surgery that may not have gone as well as hoped literally right after he arrived on campus at Michigan as a 18 year old freshman expected to be the starter.

Getting outshot 63-27 by UWSP as I type this, but he's in there, having made 56 saves so far tonight.
