Tournament, or just two home games that happen to fall on Thanksgiving weekend? The times would indicate a tournament format... or First Arena venue. Been a loooonnng time since there has been a regular-season Tournament held here.

Just two games. Not tournament. I think both teams are playing Nazareth on opposite days. Elmira went out last year. This is return trip.

I'm willing to bet that these games will be held at First Arena then... at least the Saturday game. I can understand a matinee game on Sunday to allow for sufficient travel time to get "home" for the visiting team (although the schools may by on-break for Thanksgiving ???), but the 3pm Saturday game reeks of an early timeslot to allow for a Jackals nightcap at First Arena (there is a game scheduled vs. Adirondack that date).

If this is indeed true, hopefully they will at least have those tasty IPA beers available again for $2.

You have to forgive Elmira. They confused the NCAA First round with their team Tee-Time in Florida.....last I heard it was still Saturday/Saturday/Lake Placid.....

Friday/Saturday. And the first round is not on a Thursday.

I think you mistook what Remy was saying, so no correction was needed.

He said the first round is Saturday, the quarterfinals is Saturday, then we go to Lake Placid. Ergo, Saturday/Saturday/Lake Placid.

So the grand takeaway here is that Elmira is still wrong.
