Well, I haven't brought it up. Just responding to your post (haven't read back to see who keeps bringing it up, other than making jokes about it now).

And now by fans still complaining about Cooke's suspension, the NHL has suspended him 3 games for unsportsmanlike conduct.

I knew it was only a matter of time before this kind of garbage wound come out. You do realize Sconnies carry a negative stigma too?

Cooke was suspended fine, but the league handled both Chicago incidents like a joke.

No, you quite obviously don't think it's fine. Which, I guess, is ok. Everyone has the right to whine like a little ***** for as long as they want. :D

Cuz only Wild fans find the reffing and league office to be inconsistent and discussing that fact is considered whining. Good stuff.

The ref whining from MN fans has astonishingly surpassed ref whining from Avs fans. Going back 15+ years now, I didn't think that was ever possible.

Well, given that one of the games even had members of the media basically saying the refs stole the game because of atrocious calls... :)

This garbage: I just find it funny and completely hypocritical that the fan base that is eternally butthurt over any hit in college hockey that somehow infringes upon the honor of hockey...

You often find it necessary to go childish and personal, whatever i guess that makes you feel better.

Once again I don't care that Cooke got suspended, it's the fact both CHI incidents were relatively pooh-poohed by the league.

What I said was true.

Generalizing a fan base over their double standards is hardly "personal." Maybe it cuts a little too close to home?

Don't step in it if you don't want it on your shoes.

That the league is inconsistent in handing out suspensions is hardly news.

Been going on for years and I wouldn't call a 3 and a 2 game suspension during the playoffs pooh-poohing anything.

Oh yeah, and most Hawks fans were hoping that Bollig got suspended for the rest of the playoffs so Q couldn't keep dressing him. :p:D

People at the bar I was at on Friday were pizzed that they gave him the boarding penalty on that :rolleyes:

Seems about right for this fanbase...

I saw the hit, and knew a suspension was coming... 2 games is fair and I could understand 3, putting him out for the rest of the series... I don't think anyone knowledgeable is defending his actions here...

So tonight, I see this as basically being the series... Hawks have been worked over pretty much this entire series... They need to wake the eff up... Talent got the Hawks to this point... They need to add in the desire to go out and win... It's like they have no heart... They just seem to be uninspired... Man up, and be willing to put your work in... This team needs to find some blue collar attitude in the locker room... Go out and earn this series... Play like you want to win, instead of assuming you will have it handed to you... So far, Minnesota has shown they want to advance... The Hawks haven't done so...

Usually when Rangers fans chant the name "Marty" it's a mocking drone. This is a new phenomenon.
