Jimmy Howard may have a concussion from being hit by Soderberg in game 3.

Wondered about this yesterday. If he does, and his "flu" yesterday was actually concussion related dizzy puking, I'd be a tad bit worried. The fact that he wasn't even on the bench last night led me to believe he was not out with the flu.

It was in the first period. Jimmy froze the puck, someone collided with Soda from behind and Soda hit Jimmy. If he got a concussion from that, he didn't show it for the two+ periods he played after the hit. I don't think it was that bad, certainly no penalty was called. I don't even think the NBC crew mentioned it, did they?

Yeah, I was wondering just what was really up when they said he had the flu but wasn't on the bench.

No, NBC didn't say anything about the hit. They just kept saying that Jimmy was no where to be found, and the camera showed the empty spot in the bench/tunnel where the backup sits.

Someone did say that Jimmy didn't look right / move as quick for a few minutes after the hit. He probably figured he "got his bell rung," caught his breath, and then tried to play through it.

crawford didn't play that pietrangelo goal very well. he was there and the shot was kinda duffed but he kicked his leg up for some reason

Also, I'm starting to get the feeling that whomever survived this series wins the West...

or that whomever survives is hindered in the next round due to the toll of this series. although same can prob be said about the other series.

I have only caught some of the avs/wild series and I got to hand it to the wild. They are sticking with it and taking these games. I still have the avs winning in my bracket, but who knows...it won't be in 5!
