Do you still get CBC where you are? Last time I was in Potsdam, they still had CBC on the cable system.

Man, Habs are gassed and the ice is tilted, but the Rangers can't score.

I thought NY dominated the game almost from start to finish. The Rangers' team speed overwhelmed Montreal in the third period. New York's forecheck made it nearly impossible for the Canadiens to get the puck out of their defensive zone.

Dustin Tokarski was stellar in goal and was singularly responsible for keeping the score from being 2-0, 3-0, 4-0.

Nice job tonight by the Rangers.

This doesn't come from hating either the Kings or the Hawks, but if Montreal made I wouldn't really have much interest either way. I don't dislike the Canadiens, but it would have been a wash if they got there. The Rangers are the only NYC team I cheer for. They are my father's favorite team, because the North Stars didn't exist when he was growing up. Spent many nights of my childhood watching Rangers games with my dad.

I don't care who wins now. If there is a Game 7, I will watch. Otherwise....I won't make an effort to watch the games.

Solid reason.

I used to watch the Rangers quite a bit as a kid too as back then we got WOR (?), the superstation out of NYC as part of our cable package and Ranger games were on there. Never rooted for them per se, but watched them a lot.

Used to watch and actually root for the Mets back then too. :o

Totally agree with this. The Rangers dominated most of that game. The forecheck in the beginning of the game and then again for almost the whole third period was awesome.

I have to say as a Rangers fan I am completely surprised by them getting to the Cup finals. I didn't think they quite had it in them before the playoffs started and then when they went down 3-1 to the Pens I thought they were done.

I'm not sure who I would rather face in the finals and I'm not sure it really matters all that much. Both of the western teams are stacked with scoring and both have good goaltending. It's going to be a uphill battle for the Rangers no matter who they face.

How is that possible? I'm really shocked any hockey fan could have a *shrug* attitude about the diving/cheating/whining Canadiens. #LoveHate
