2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

Re: 2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

Jeff Cox has his New England prospects on the USHL futures list and lists Johnny DeRoche on it.

John DeRoche, Jr. Bruins 16U (USPHL) - The Lynnfield, Mass. native is undersized, but he's constantly moving his feet on the ice and has great hands. He's nifty with the puck and can both set up and finish. His scoring prowess for the Jr. Bruins 16U team showed he can more than handle himself against his peers, despite the small frame.

This is our recruiting class of 11 kids

Incoming: Pieper, Pieper, MacMaster, Smith, Renouf, Renouf, Lawrence, Gaudory, Agosta, McKernan, Taverner

These are the people known to be vacating a spot (9)

Leaving a spot: Jones, Jones, JST, Hibbeler, Brooks, BVB, Quenneville, Rouleau, Luczyk

2 more incoming than leaving. I'll try to figure out Lemire situation but we will see

On Monday in the Western Canada Cup the Coquitlam Express defeated the Winnipeg Blues 2-1. The Pieper brothers were held off the score sheet.

There next game is tonight against the Yorkton Terriers.

Re: 2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

Last night in the Western Canada Cup the Coquitlam Express fell 5-3 to the Dauphin Kings.

Bo Pieper and Canon Pieper each had an assist in the loss.

Coquitlam finished in 4th place and has no chance for the Western Canada Cup championship. They do however can still get into the RBC Cup tournament if they win their game against 3rd Spruce Valley Saints (AJHL) and then beat the loser of the championship game.

Re: 2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

The Coquitlam Express fell in the Western Canada Cup 3rd/4th place game 5-3 to Spruce Valley ending the junior careers of Bo and Canon Pieper. Canon had 1 goal today while Bo was kept off the score sheet. Both will descend upon Hamden this fall.
