2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

This is just a hunch, but I don't think we'll be heading west anytime soon unless Rand can find a reciprocal agreement with someone. He, and QU, really want teams to come to the Bank, and I can't blame them. One of the few teams I can think of that might consider it would be North Dakota, as they have regularly traveled east in the past.

I hope I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I get from hearing Rand over the past few seasons.

I have heard that too from higher ups. Without a team making a return trip to Hamden we won't be making trips west.

Re: 2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

Hello all! I have finally accepted the fact that the season is over and that QU won't be playing for a national championship. It's tough to accept but **** is it cool that BVB in in the NHL. Another step forward for the program. If anyone is in Maine this offseason drop me a line. Just yell "Go Bobcats!" Really loud ... I'll hear ya.

BCHL Recruit stats from last nights action as Coquitlam won 4-3 in overtime to move into the finals against Vernon.

Canon Pieper 1 goal

Coquitlam next plays in the finals beginning on April 11th against Vernon. This will matchup the Pieper brothers against another Quinnipiac future recruit in Logan Mick.

Re: 2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

From what I've seen he'll be a late round pick (5,6,7th round). Connor Clifton is the highest pick we've had right? He was 133

Clifton was in the 5th round. MacMaster if he was healthy and produced a better season could have went as high as the third round from what I heard. 5,6,7 is about right at this point. He was a good pickup especially with the amount we are losing and the depth problems we had this year.

Re: 2014 Quinnipiac Bobcats off season

BCHL finals start tonight in a matchup of Quinnipiac recruits. Bo and Canon Pieper both heading to Hamden in the fall for Coquitlam and Logan Mick possibly coming to Hamden the following year depending on his development for Vernon.

Sorry to break up qualum's streak but Coquitlam won the Fred Page Cup beating Vernon 4-3 to sweep the series. Congrats to the Pieper boys as Bo had a goal and an assist and Canon had an assist. Always good to have kids coming in that have won and are hungry for more

Canon actually had 1 goal and not an assist. Congrats to Coquitlam for moving on.
