Both moves make sense to me.
The muni isn't going to let a renter remove muni equipment (the old scoreboard) and install their own (the new scoreboard). Duh!
And the muni isn't going to let just anyone play with the computer that runs the board.
I know I won't let just anyone fiddle with my computer and the new Sully scoreboard and computer that runs it cost just a bit more than my home computer I'd guess.
I'm just happy we get the benefit of an up to date scoreboard and the improved sound system that comes with it.
The Muni did buy it. And yes everyone pays to have it run by professionals.I heard (from a very reliable source) that the Muni did buy it, and now UAA has to pay to use it. Not only that, they have to pay someone to run it, since not just anyone can operate it.
