The Muni did buy it. And yes everyone pays to have it run by professionals.
Both moves make sense to me.
The muni isn't going to let a renter remove muni equipment (the old scoreboard) and install their own (the new scoreboard). Duh!
And the muni isn't going to let just anyone play with the computer that runs the board.
I know I won't let just anyone fiddle with my computer and the new Sully scoreboard and computer that runs it cost just a bit more than my home computer I'd guess.
I'm just happy we get the benefit of an up to date scoreboard and the improved sound system that comes with it.

Maine, Wisconsin and UA_ fans ... I'll have coverage of all the games including my attempts to demi-play-by-play in the chat window on the blog. I'll try to have some treats as well so stop by and participate. I hope to meet some fans from Maine and Wisconsin ...

I sense a bit of animosity between Anchorage and Fairbanks, er _airbanks I think it is. Lack of sunshine would do that to ya I think. In any event, will the trophy fit on our plane for the long ride home you suppose? :) Or is there even one?

Btw, anyone know what time in the eastern time zone the Maine - UAA game would be on, or do I not want to know that? Any sort of internet coverage?

Well.......... I'll try explaining a _ to a double _ _ I’ll give it my best shot…. in layman’s terms UA_ dropped the F because they want to pretend to be like UM and UW so they dropped the F and UAA fans had decided they will be called UA_ . If you check the “all sports heads up record b/t the 2 schools ……..UAA has kicked the F out of UA_ since day one . So they are known as UA_. Did I pierce the void?

The other side of the coin is how ACC fans have to cling to the all-time record dating back to the 'Nooks club days. Recent history apparently doesn't matter. Last year was an anomaly... :)

Cos when you are on the lopsided losing end of an all-time record then "all-time" should mean the least number of years applicable to make your team look better.

3-7-0 in last 10 regular season games... Won't be long until the all-time record evens out. Used to be far more lopsided in ACC's favor 10 years ago.

But I'm happy for you that last year was the 'Wolves first winning season in this millennium.

Yeah you need to recheck your info... UAA was 4-3 versus UA_ last year alone including eliminating you from the playoffs on your home ice. Now run along and count how many Governor's Cups UA_ won by shootout after a tied series.

You need to recheck your reading skills. I explicitly stated regular season games... For that reason :P
