Re: 2014 Frozen Four Info Thread

Comcast, owner of NBC, the Flyers, the Wells Fargo Center, a 56-story sky scraper in Philly with a second planned, and soon an acquisition of Time-Warner Cable doesn't like to be embarrassed.
Well, then they should take a look at their customer service department.

Well, I'm not here to defend Comcast, simply stating that they are the most prominent corporate entity in Philly and are aggressive marketers and sellers. In my view, Comcast will do everything to it can to drive a successful event. I'm a dispassionate but interested observer of this whole event management and ticket selling process. And, I personally despise those grotesque add-on fees of the ticket sellers to the point I'll drive to the venue box office to avoid them.

Re: 2014 Frozen Four Info Thread

I disagree with this one. Bigger fish to fry for them. How would they sell all these tickets in the last few days?

Do you know how many tickets are left? When I go to the site, I don't see any availability downstairs and upstairs there are 16 rows, I believe, and availability is in the last rows.

The arena did sellout(19,000+) for two Penn State-Vermont games in the last two years. I could be dead wrong, but I do expect sellouts. What confuses me is that some seem to be cheerleading for a poor turnout.

I'm going to be there so I want it full. What were the prices of tickets to those sellouts? When I checked the other day, there were still a bunch available. They hold the top three or four rows for single session, I think. I can check again today.

I'm finding multiple pairs and a four in the lower level. You can only hold two at a time but I just held 211 - 6 - 1-12 and 211 - 7- 1-17 as the best available in the upper level. This means rows 8+ are probably available and most sections as you get further from center ice... These are seats that have opened up since a couple months ago, which is concerning.

That's stupid. When I searched lower level last week it errored out, same with club. The best I could ever get it to give me was 11th row of the upper level.....

I updated my post, but seats have been opening up on and off in the past few weeks. Sucks as a buyer because you have no idea if that will happen.

Just confirmed all 23 in 211 row 8 and all 23 in 211 row 9. Uh-oh.

In Denver (2008) I walked up to the Pepsi Center box office to purchase tickets for the skills competition and was still hit with a convenience charge!

Sir, you'll notice I had the tickets right here without having to leave my chair. That'll be an additional $17.50. Thank you for accepting.

Re: 2014 Frozen Four Info Thread

Looking at the seating chart. what are the sections above the 200 level numbered 1-24, never been in the place, but it seems those sections are not on sale.
