9. You eliminated one of our best offensive players in the midst of a 7-2 drubbing the prior weekend.
8. The Thursday-Saturday schedule clearly threw our guys off kilter.
7. The Board of Regents secretly hates UAA and asked us to throw the series to give UAA a bone.
6. We just wanted to be neighborly, so we kept the trophy and let you have the honor of going to the Final 5-1.

I picked both of us both nights but I wouldn't be too surprised if Penn State sneaks out a W in one of the games. You know Gadz will have his guys ready to go for this little reunion.

I don't doubt that UAA will win. But understand that its very hard for me to pick against Gadz...

I was pretty ****ed at the 'Nooks when our guys didn't step it up. Seawolves simply wanted it more.

As a personal opinion, I think Ferguson made a mistake calling a timeout late in game 3. UAA had just iced the puck for the 2nd or 3rd time when he called it. If he doesn't call I think UAF could've tied it up because the UAA was gassed.

Not really trying to start anything, just an observation I had.

In hindsight, I don't think that Friday blowout (7-2) did us any favors. We looked overconfident the Saturday GC game and the first two playoff games, and it wasn't until we went down 0-2 in game 3 that we woke up and played with any urgency. Parayko nearly won that game by himself, but it was too little too late. Morley's injury didnt help, either. UAA deserved to win and get the spoils.

Tyler Morley is active for tonight's game against Air Force. Davis Jones is in goal as well.

The boys didn't look sharp, but they got better as the game went on. That goal by Trupper was sick.

It's early, but it appears that Trupp might bee breaking out this season.
