Good luck and congrats on a great season so far msu fans, never thought I'd say this but I'm pulling for yall to go far in the tournament. definately enjoy watching a Hastings coached Mavericks team more than his prediessaors that's for sure.

After spending some time around the Mavs last weekend, I think they have every ingredient needed to win four games. The last hurdle to clear is breaking that NCAA 0-fer duck, and I think they have next to a lock on getting that vs RIT. Once that's off the table, I see very little stopping them.

Keep your focus, Mavericks. The only team in the field that can stop you right now...sits on your own bench.

Wow, okay so Omaha and Harvard should just turn around and go home? I've seen Minnesota State play and you guys are very good but are not a lock for anything. I'm sure Minnesota thought the same way you did when they played Holy Cross in the regionals several years ago. They wound up losing. Holy Cross head coach Paul Pearl is now our associate head coach. If we make it past Omaha, we'll be ready for you.

No slight on either of the other teams in the Midwest Regional. Totally impartial to all of them.

But to beat this MSU team, you'll need to play your best game of the season - and probably hope they're more than a little off. Best of luck to all 4 of you.

Just an fyi...he's not an msu fan. It's an outside observer making an observation.

Skate, it isn't anything against you or your team, we all know these teams are very good. It is almost like a band of brothers rallying around MSU and tech to stick it in the faces of the elite conferences that didn't need our teams.

Good luck and hope to see your squad in the 2nd round.

I get that but the post came across as a done deal and at this time of year, anything can and will happen. Just ask BU fans about Yale. They may not have believed that Yale was that good but the Bulldog's experience in this tournament almost paid off for them. And they don't have nearly the talent or skill of a BU or North Dakota.

I'm totally okay with people supporting their teams - it's what makes college sports so enjoyable. It's when my team is disrespected that I feel I have to respond. That's all.

The people saying it is a done deal are actually fans of other teams. The MSU folks aren't saying anything but we want to get this 0fer off our back, knowing how hard it is to win.

Actually I was lost haha. This was not suppose to be posted in here! Sorry. I was looking for where I posted this. I was reading this thread then forgot it wasn't my thread! It was very early or late when I posted =D

No one thinks it's a done deal but you in the east aren't aware of the quality of play in the WCHA which is at least as good as the ECAC
I don't think the poster intended to slight you in any way
