Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Michigan's O-line looks as awful as ever. Should be a real treat when they meet MSU in a couple months.

Navy keeping up with OSU, NDSU keeping up with ISU, and Virginia doing well with UCLA.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Big Ten is currently losing to Navy, Northern Iowa, Youngstown State, and tied with Indiana State and Western Michigan. Great showing so far.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Hoping Navy and Northern Iowa can pull it off in the second half...

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

A service academy winning big like that would be amazing.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Ohio $tate is starting to pull away from Navy. One more score should end it.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

5th straight win for NDSU vs the FBS.
MN, KU, CSU, KSU, ISU
Not a murderers row by any means, still impressive though

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Looks like Notre Dame's whole game plan is their senior transfer punt returner Cody Riggs.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Melvin Gordon has like 2 carries in this half and one of those was for 63 yards.

Brilliant.

Full on bed ****ting mode. Man is Wisconsin's passing game bad. Put Stave in.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Watching Wisconsin's QB is like watching Tate Forcier.

Probably wouldn't help. No receivers whatsoever.

Game was lost by moron coordinators - offensive for not running Gordon with a 17 point lead and defense for playing nickel in obvious run situations and allowing LSU to run at will.

Brutal.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

@ZachHeilprin: Gary Andersen said Melvin Gordon was fine. Doesn't know why he didn't carry the ball more than two times.

Pretty inexcusable for a coach to not take blame or accountability for this..

Wisconsin's wideouts and QB remind me of 2012 Iowa.. Horrific.

Some quotes that sum up the Buckeye mindset:

Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch said:
Against Navy's triple-option offense and its oddly set-up, aggressive defense, it was always going to be an awkward season opener for Ohio State and its abundance of new starters.

Urban Meyer said:
(The plan was to) show great respect and then get out of Dodge fast.

Bob Baptist of the Columbus Dispatch said:
It wasn't exactly the government shutdown we were hoping for, but still a solid win against a worthy opponent.
FWIW.
