I really want to puke saying this, but I'm a big Spartan fan Saturday.

Catholics v Convicts: Version 2.0
I presume you're just making a little dig, and don't care that your history is off the mark. If so, my reaction is to :) and leave it go at that.

But in case you're too young to remember: Catholics vs. Convicts refers to Notre Dame vs. the Miami Hurricanes.

Why do I care? The previous OSU/ND series in 1995 & 1996 is among my favorite sports memories. Great games that were not tarnished by scandal in any way, shape or form.

EDIT: While I'm at it, the real Catholics vs. Convicts game was played in 1988, and was a key piece of Notre Dame's National Title run that year. Plus, IIRC, the famous T-Shirt was created by Notre Dame students. So I've gotta believe that Fighting Irish fans would also prefer that the history be remembered accurately...

UTSA almost beat Arizona last night. For a program that's only been playing games for three years (they had one season of just practice) they're certainly making a name for themselves. One of the favorites for CUSA.

Meanwhile, Georgia State is in the exact same situation and have never beaten an FBS team, and if they hadn't come from behind against FCS transition Albilene Christian would be looking at a potential 28 game losing streak.

Funny you should mention UTSA. I was playing NCAA 13 this weekend and scheduled a game with UTSA to ensure I could get a game in Texas (recruiting strategy) and they almost beat my team. I almost **** myself.

UTSA is actually pretty good. They have a crazy amount of seniors this year which helps.

Gameday needs to be like 90 minutes long. 3 hours is stupid, especially when you only talk about like 3-4 games
