I came in on it late so I don't know. But that should be Steelers ball. Clark had the ball with his knee down before he ever tried to lateral it.

The thing is there were 2 flags on the play, I think the other occurred before pit had ball soi nm to sure how it would be handled. I thought it was holding on. Polamalu after kick before pos. in the end the score is right because the refs screwed up the fumble that gave pack the ball,th at should have been a TD.

Well, that quick TD and then a pick 6 makes me forget about anything else now....

By the time I came in they were only talking about the fumble and batting it out of bounds. So I don't know. If there was a hold there, it sure seems like it would have cleared up a lot of the confusion if the hold takes precedence.

Green Bay may hold the NFL record with the most braindead athletes on one team.

Good luck Mookie. If that happens, some sports anchor's head will burst while s/he's trying to explain the five way cluster fugg at 8-8.

Sounds like you had a REALLY fun day.

Everyone knew the Bears couldn't play defense. They have to win via offense and special teams. If Rodgers is out next weekend I imagine the Bears will win the division by default.

Miami Dolphins (8-7) would clinch with:
• A win plus either a loss by Baltimore or win by San Diego.
• A tie plus losses by Baltimore and San Diego.

Not one of the quartet in the hunt fully controls its own destiny — a bizarre twist added by the NFL’s tiebreaker scenarios. Miami currently holds the edge on Baltimore because San Diego, a winner Sunday, created a three-team tie at 8-7. In that scenario, the Ravens’ win over Miami is canceled out by Miami’s win over San Diego, pushing the conference-record tiebreaker to the forefront. The Dolphins hold that edge on both the Ravens and Chargers.

Baltimore Ravens (8-7) would clinch with:
• A win plus a loss by either Miami or San Diego.
• A loss plus losses by Miami, San Diego and Pittsburgh.

That aforementioned three-team tiebreaker? Baltimore needs to break it in Week 17 to pull back into the No. 6 seed. The Ravens have to do that by winning, first of all, and then getting the Dolphins or Chargers to trip up. Head-to-head, Baltimore would hold the tiebreaker edge on either of those teams. In a three-team jumble where all three teams have the same record, the Ravens would miss out.

San Diego Chargers (8-7) would clinch with:
• A win or tie plus losses by Miami and Baltimore.

The Chargers are third in the pecking order. They would lose the head-to-head tiebreaker with Miami, the conference-record tiebreaker with Baltimore and would be No. 3 in the three-team tiebreaker. So, the Chargers’ only hope is to get to 9-7 and hope for help.

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-8) would clinch with:
• A win plus losses by Baltimore, Miami (vs. NY Jets) and San Diego.

I better get college credit for this.

Re: 2013 NFL Season. Tebow on the Brady Bunch(en)? Goodell will to all men!

I'm not going to complain if they get in, but I'm curious what the tie breakers are that would put the Steelers in over all the other 8-8 teams. Does anyone know that? I looked around but didn't see it anywhere. They lost to Miami, and are 1-1 against Baltimore. I'm only guessing here but from what I can tell, Pittsburgh gets in over Baltimore because Steelers would be 4-2 while Baltimore at 3-3. They win over San Diego because of record vs common opponents, or conference record. Either way. The one I can't figure out is how they beat Miami. Miami beat Pittsburgh and they have a better record in conference.

Edit: Figured it out. Jets would jump Miami based on division record. And Pittsburgh beat the Jets. Crazy.

Good summary here too: AFC playoff summary

Tony Romo out for at least Sunday. Now the Cowboys actually have a chance.
