The Vikings secondary makes every throw possible...A couple of those throws to Jordy simply shouldn't be possible.
Who can say "Les Steckel?"
Good way for the Packers to say "See-ya" to that ****-hole of a stadium.
Boring game but took care of business.

That Ponder's fault too?
That Ponder's fault too?
Just because the defense can't defend doesn't absolve Ponder of his bad QB play. In fact, even with as bad as the O-line has played, it doesn't absolve Ponder of his bad QB play. He's bad when the pocket is solid and he's worse when it's not. If you're so gung ho on the guy, don't worry, he'll be on the market in about four months from now.
On an unrelated note, does anybody think that the increase in the number of injuries players are seeing this season might be a result of limiting the amount of full contact time in practice? It was part of the bargaining agreement, but I think players are losing some of that technique or thought process that goes in protecting themselves because they don't have to do it as much anymore. At any rate, it's just a thought.
If you think the Vikings would have scored 31 if the packers weren't scoring at will, you weren't paying attenion.I just find it funny that Vikes fans wanted him back so bad after the Freeman start and then get upset that he started. They did put up 31 points. The defense is the one that gave up 44. I didn't see him playing DB. He did help the team get into the playoffs last year, which is more than I can say for my team.
This shouldn't confuse anyone at all...Minnesota's favorite professional athlete is always the backup QB for the Vikings, and anyone who watched the game could see that it was clearly Christian Ponder that couldn't get the defense off the field on 3rd down...or 4th down.I just find it funny that Vikes fans wanted him back so bad after the Freeman start and then get upset that he started. They did put up 31 points. The defense is the one that gave up 44. I didn't see him playing DB. He did help the team get into the playoffs last year, which is more than I can say for my team.
Or if the Packers played anything other than a prevent at the end. The game was not as close as the score indicates...If you think the Vikings would have scored 31 if the packers weren't scoring at will, you weren't paying attenion.
exactly, those last 2 TDs for the Vikes were because it didn't matter.Or if the Packers played anything other than a prevent at the end. The game was not as close as the score indicates...

The game was never in doubt...even when it was 7-0 Vikings....exactly, those last 2 TDs for the Vikes were because it didn't matter.
2009: Under Brett Favre, Vikings surprise many with a great season, and advance to the NFC Title game against NO, where they outplay the Saints, but fall in OT...28-31 (the NFL then changes the rules of OT)
