With 1:13 left and after Mercyhurst ran one of the least offensive power plays in history, the Lakers score to go ahead 3-2.

Cornell ties ith 55.5 seconds left.

Both the late go-ahead goal and the tying goal were longer range shots than got re-directed. The Mercyhurst shot hit that was going wide hit a Cornell defender on the skate or leg and went in on the far post. The Cornell shot hit something and dipped to go in five hole. Neither goalie had much of a chance on each goal.

Was at the game live. Great paced game. Could have gone either way. Great crowd on hand. Glad I went. Congrats to both teams and good luck to the Lakers next weekend.

Wow, this is a bigger shocker to me than if NoDak can knock off Minnesota. Congrats, Hurst.

Proud of the entire team....what a great effort! I look back on TTT's blog where he highlights 2 players as being the standouts, and I get why he says what he says, but this is a truly unselfish, fully spirited team, in which each and every player has checked their egos at their dorm room before coming to the rink. Get to know these ladies and the way they interact, and you too will be truly impressed. What a great effort today! Go Lakers!
