2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

I'd be confident about April 15th, if I couldn't look out my window and still see 2 feet of snow on the ground.
We probably have 8 to 12 inches on the ground here.

We also completed our full course bunker renovation and moved one green last fall before the ground froze, so we won't be rushing to get open this year either.

Got my 3rd round in 5 days in today. Not too bad, but I did smash a 4 iron to the back of the green on a par 5 over water and bunkers 235 yards, and got the birdie :D Now I won't get another round in until early May, **** j-o-b.

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

I'm way too young to play shuffleboard.

So the weather has finally gotten better here. Froze my butt off as the starter on Sunday, but played my first round of the season yesterday with sun and 70 degrees.

Not really thrilled with my round, but I look at it as a practice round with my new irons. The A4 forged sticks have a nice feel to them and they've added about 10-20 yards to my distance, even without them being fitted.

I can't figure out how I could spend the winter working out at the gym, and today I feel like a 60-year old. Oh wait.....I will be in July. Pass the Aleve please.

Doesn't the golf team have a simulator that you can steal time on during the winter months? Sonny boy does that @ his college (D-III).

No - but there is a shop in town that has a simulator. I just never got around to going during the winter.

Happy Masters Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Potter Jr. will not win this weekend. Par 3 winners do not get green jackets.

Yay, the Masters, and it is snowing so hard outside that I can't see my neighbor's house. Lovely.

I kinda think this is cool.. I may just sit at home, drink beer, and relax. Watch shots hit at Augsta and the snow fall outside.:p

BTW, Tiger or the field? I'm taking the field.

Field. I only root for left-handed golfers.
