Oregon only has one loss too. I think they should be National Champions.

Still haven't had our Oregon-Bama title game yet. I would like to see that.Oregon only has one loss too. I think they should be National Champions.
Further more, why were they going after Alabama's top corner an an All American.kelly's comments about feeling they needed to go for a TD on 4th and 5 from the 35 because they needed to take some chances says to me that he may have panicked more than the kids did. Mind you, nothing should have made anyone think of victory at that point but when a 1st down could be huge towards slowing the game down, maybe getting a FG and at least getting something positive, he ran 3 go routes and tossed one up for grabs.
kelly said before the game that the team that made the most mistakes would win...they had to take a lot of chances...not only was that wrong but it played into the hands of the more confident, solid team. During pre-game, Urban Meyer made a face when that line was repeated...like "that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard".
there is a difference between taking a chance on 2 and 2 from mid-field in a tight game and throwing caution to the wind, literally when you are hanging on for dear life. Almost every team in America would run one of those pick play routes and try to get somebody open for 5.01 yards. Sometimes they call it conventional wisdom because it is correct.
Again, wouldn't mean they would win but it could slow the game down, give Alabama one less possession in the first half and maybe get you 3 points. Too early to completely panic.
It would have been a very similar game. Oregon couldn't handle Stanford's defense, and I don't see how their defense stops Lacy, Cooper, McCarron, and Yeldon, especially with their offensive line. And like you said...give Saban a month to prepare...Give Saban that much time to prepare and I don't think Oregon would have stood a chance either.
Probably. But, we'll never know for sure.It would have been a very similar game. Oregon couldn't handle Stanford's defense, and I don't see how their defense stops Lacy, Cooper, McCarron, and Yeldon, especially with their offensive line. And like you said...give Saban a month to prepare...
I was just coming here to post that. Apparently the reports of her existence were greatly exaggerated.
I'm not so sure I buy that Lennay isn't dead. I saw the way Manti T'eo dealt with AJ McCarron, and I think he'd be able to recognize a spookily-white creature constantly dragging chains.
Come to think of it, has anybody even seen this "Hawaii"?
So, she was a metaphor for the Irish's title chances all along?
Holy Crap. Was anyone else shocked when they heard Marques Tuiasosopo was a 2nd rounder?
Someone on Twitter wondered if this was going to be the plot for "Weekend at Bernie's 3"

Crazy theory being floated on Reddit: Te'o is gay and made up the girlfriend to placate his ultraconservative Mormon family.
