2013 Alaska Governors Cup - Next year we play for keeps

He probably did until the university’s NCAA compliance director blew the whistle on the institution’s incompetent advising and sports eligibility systems advisor.
He is on the UAF alumni roster. I guess I get to bust out "Roggggggers! Why you always put on the red light!" again. :)

Agreed.

FIRE DAVE SHYIAK and lets throw in campbell blair as well. if Dave goes, campbell should as well.

Not sure if that would happen. When a head coach leaves the assistants generally stay on for one year more. Then the University gives the new head coach a chance to bring in his own assistants. At least that is what has happened in the past.

Calling for a split, Fairbanks at home, Anchorage at home and then a shootout, best guess who wins that, we each have such a high octane offense.

For the Seawolf fans, here's Curtis Glencross doing what he does best:

Too bad he plays on a Horrible squad (can say that as a flames fan)

He was so much fun to watch. I still remember when he came out of the penalty box, intercepted the puck and undressed the UA_ goalie to score. Fun stuff.

On paper this should be an easy sweep for us but with rivalries you can forget about the stats. We are a better skating club with a decent offense when we get rolling. Our PP, PK, shots on goal, goals scored, etc are all better.

I think this series rests on Keeney's shoulders. If he has a brain fart somewhere along the way UAA could steal one. If he stays solid and we play our game, we win both. To be blunt we haven't played well since the end of January. Need to drop the hammer and quit making Harlem Shake videos for YouTube.

Just remember, when UAA went 0-fer in the WCHA (under John Hill), the one team they did beat was UA_. ;)

I think one thing to keep in mind is that the series will be using WCHA referees. I think that helps UAA a bit since CCHA referees historically call games a bit tighter.

I thought CCHA refs called the game in Fairbanks?

You forgot to pride yourself on the total losses to UAA they are way better also:eek:

So you put all the heat on the Goaltender...I guess he better gain a whole lot of weight before Friday so if he’s not better at least he’s wider.

Need to drop the hammer and quit making Harlem Shake videos for YouTube.
I noticed it had 316 views but under closer analysis found out 315 were yours…what’s up with that?:D
