So Union and SLU have a "lot" of really loyal fans who enjoy the team and the program but BC doesn't? That's as stupid as it gets right there. And any program with the success BC has had over the past 10+ years would have some fans who are considered arrogant/obnoxious. Heck, some fans of other teams are arrogant/obnoxious despite their team not being able to back it up. This is not unique to BC fans. There have been plenty of NEUTRAL fans saying Gaudreau should win the Hobey easily, again, not unique to me or BC fans in general. Rather than just tossing generalities out there, if you see something that bothers you, go after that specific person.

I have no idea what you're talking about in regard to the 2000 FF, nor do I really care. It was 14 freakin' years ago. A few idiot fans are not representative of me or other BC fans. I am also not interested in lobbying for support from other eastern fans. It means absolutely nothing to me as it has no impact on anything. When you win a lot, other fans root against you--happens in sports all the time. Cheer your little heart out for Union, I don't give a flying ****. Man you are annoying. You're right about one thing though, I won't have an impact on who wins the game. Now there's an earth shattering revelation.

By the way, what have I said about Union? Have I said anything negative about their team or their chances today? Nope. They have a great team and I think it will be a great game. F off.

Whaaaaaaa! Nope, BC seems to have a monopoly on arrogant and annoying. BU used to own you guys, and they have never been that bad. Harvard used to own you too and they were never that bad. BC has been no more dominant than Wisconsin, UND, Denver, CC, Maine or UNH have been in the past. BC fans have pretty much always had a monopoly on being classless on this board and at the rink.

Now you are in good company with DC.

I hate Notre Dame too but will find it so easy to root for them every time they play BC.

It should be a good game. I wonder who Dave Starman thinks will win. He knows a lot about college hockey. You should listen to him some times.

Right back at you.. I have lots of respect for BC as both a school & hockey program, especially Jerry York (who taught me how to skate backward at summer hockey camp 500 years ago :rolleyes:). There are overzealous/obnoxious ones in any fanbase. I'm hoping for a close exciting game.. but you never know what will happen in high stakes games like these. Got to get to the WF Center.. Gooooooooooooooooooooooooo U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck today. I am rooting for Union to win it all this year for a few reasons: 1. Back to back ECAC champs. 2. Good to see upstate NY do well. 3. To raise the bar and force RPI to react and counter.

I know a lot of folks from the East side of the river mock you guys but I believe the healthier Union is the healthier RPI gets. Would love to see the two teams become the ECAC version of BC/BU. It's a reach I know... but one can always hope.

Hats off to BC who is a great team. With that said, we're going to the national championship game!!!! Bodie with tremendous leadership and Ciampini with the hat trick. Let's GO UNION!!!
