If anyone needs a Sunday hockey alternative, the Utica Comets are visiting the A Devils at 3:00. It should be a chance to watch J Welsh on the ice with former mate, K Zaj. I understand that K Kinkaid is injured.

Pryor said the Flyers will do "what's best for Shayne's development," but that decision is really up to Gostisbehere.

"It will definitely be tough," Gostisbehere said. "It's a gut feeling. It's a family decision, too. My mom definitely wants that diploma. If I had to leave this place, it would be hard. I don't want to be that guy that has to hurt people like that. But at the end of the day, I need to make the best decision for my development."

Was great waiting around for the Q score. Atmosphere was in the building was electric, I can't ever remember seeing something like that before. First time since 2001-2002 - 2005-2006 (Cornell) that an ECAC team has won three out of four Cleary Cups. First goal down, two more to go. Let's go U!

Union has clinched at least a share of the Cleary. The Dutchmen can win it outright with a win tomorrow vs SLU.

Union also clinched the top seed in the ECAC Hockey tournament. Union split the season series with Quinnipiac, but will hold the second tiebreaker, league wins. Union has 15 and Quinnipiac has 11. There are only three games left in the regular season.

Not quite. Because of the season series, you can still mathematically lose the tiebreaker to Colgate and get #2.

Everyone was so wrapped up in what was going on with Quinnipiac, that Colgate was kind of forgotten about. You're right, though. Union still needs one point to clinch the top seed.

Congratulations to the team and coaching staff on a great game and clinching FIRST PLACE!!!! A rocky road to get there and was not really what I was expecting when the season began, but the team continues to surprise me. Nice to see Stevens get the shutout and Champ get a couple big goals.. they are two key players that have significantly raised their games this season. Hopefully can celebrate senior night tomorrow with at least another point to clinch outright.. but from the video highlights I saw, SLU will be tough and is fighting for a home playoff spot so should be very motivated.
