2013-2014 D1 Commitments

Canada's U-18 Team listed her as playing for Ontario Hockey Academy.

I think this year went home to play at limolou .They did the stoney creek Tourney and she was on their roster.
. So she won't even be ready for university because she needs to do two years there

Dubois is playing for Limoilou this year (Close to her home). You can go to Uni after one year of CEGEP. Most don't, but it is possible, depending on what you take, or how you set up your program.

Westman Wildcats this season. She played for Balmoral previously.

Quinni really loading up these last few years - nice to see more competition.

Has anyone committed to BU for the coming year yet? Surprised that they're going to be losing 9 (potentially 10) players and they haven't gotten a commit yet.

They most likely are already full, we just haven't heard about them. (Probably Canadians)

Why does Harvard have so many players coming in? I think it could be Harvard vs Canada in the Gold Medal Game, just a thought.

Well National team members and close candidates will probably be centralized next year, meaning not available for college hockey for that season. I think there is at least two or three Harvard players that will be part of that, possibly explaining the need for extra bodies to replace them.

Don't assume that they will all get in - history would suggest that they won't. Also - it is possible that Harvard or the player have broken some of the early commits (skill level, academics, etc.) and that just hasn't been recognized on this board yet. Parents/players/schools are quick to tell folks when players commit but pretty reluctant to announce when the commitment is broken (for any reason).
