Nor does the USHL, the NAHL or any other junior league or PG program. Until there is money to be made in girl's/women's hockey I just don't see much if any change from the status quo.

Unfortunately I think you are correct, I'm just ranting. I don't like my money subsidizing the NTDP, those parents can pay up. Many families supporting 40 boys at the NTDP is wrong when the girls get nothing :mad:

Not to mention at least one centralization.....rebuilding year? Maybe so and he'll run a small bench to have more $$ the following year?

First, there are only 4 seniors (maybe 5) on the team that are meaningful contributors - the rest are girls that dressed on occasion and weren't impact players. Second, they also have some strong freshmen (Woodworth, Juron, Russo, Braga) that haven't had a lot of playing time this year but will be bigger contributors next season when the contributing seniors are gone. I don't think the team is in significant trouble next season.

Also, they are traditionally one of the last schools for which commitments become known (don't know if that is coach driven or not). I wouldn't be worried yet - I would guess they have some players lined up. Probably not 10 or 11 - but they don't really need that many anyway!

Right, but other schools do that as well and most of the commitments tend to be known well in advance anyway. For soem reason, the BU commitments seem to be much more closely guarded and less well known in advance of the announcement.
