Real good win on the road tonight. Dominated the game from start to finish which is not something you see everyday. Peca with a 3 point night. Hopefully this is the start of a hot streak in the 2nd half of the season. On to Clarkson and St. Lawrence next week at home.

Forgot to add last night... congrats to Tommy Schutt on his first collegiate goal. I've been impressed by him since the beginning of the season... plays hard and is always hustling. He seems to understand his role and plays it extremely well.

Maybe it's just my Canadian mentality but what's with web sites like Collage Hockey News???

The #3 team in the nation kicks the snot out of a rival 8-1 and nothing at all on the Home Page.
Oh wait.....4th line BC player has a small cut on his finger....STOP the PRESSES!

I thought after last year the Bobcats would have earned some respect! :(

I think part of the problem is that some folks still give little credit to the quality of ECAC hockey. IMO, those folks just aren't paying attention. Me thinks QU will be getting plenty of press over the next two months. I just hope they don't get too much press at my team's expense. ;) :)

I completely agree....the ECAC isn't a league to be taken lightly by any team in the USA.

Looking at their recruiting of late the Bobcats could be a powerhouse in American hockey for the next 6 years.

Less headlines the better. Lets fly under the radar as much as we can for a team looking like a good bet to get placed in the Bridgeport region.

Got tix to the Clarkson game on Friday. Can't wait.

3 of the top 6 PWR teams are from the ECAC. Last year was not a fluke -- as a conference we're back to where we were in the late 80's and early 90's.

To be fair to the people who haven't caught up with the new reality, it has happened pretty quickly. The conference will continue to gain credibility as long as our NCAA teams keep winning games.

Yup definitely an important weekend of games. Both of these teams played us tough last year at the Bank with St. Lawrence beating us 2-1 and ending our 21 game unbeaten streak.

This is really looking like a pretty complete team this year. Only concern is Michael Garteig's save percentage isn't where it should be but he doesn't see a lot of shots at times due to the defense. Here are some really impressive team stats.

1st in team defense at 1.89 goals a game tied with UMass Lowell
2nd in team offense 3.68 goals a game. Boston College is first with 4.33 goals a game
2nd in penalty killing at 90.6. They were first for a while but now are behind Boston College at 91.1
8th in power play at 22.67. This is up from a season ago.
