It will actually be a couple of weeks before Union gets those games in hand as they're OoC at UNH next weekend.

Don't think there was too much separating either team last night. Really thought Union would equalize in the dying moments but we bent and didn't break.

Otherwise thought they were pretty sloppy. Goals were well taken but I've been spoiled by brilliant passing combinations in the past and they just weren't there tonight. Also not fully there? Matt Peca. Thought he'd have a big game after the way he tore Union apart last year. Will need him on song if they want to make another deep run.

Really like Conor Clifton and the bite that he has to his game. Could use more of that up and down the lineup.

What a huge weekend. I thought tonight was what this season was going to look like. Nothing like putting up a half dozen and seeing garteig (the e before I thing still kills me) make a couple of real dandy stops. I've ripped on this team over the last few weeks, but this is why ... They have the potential to sweep any weekend and that should be more than just a goal every week. I think it should be an expectation. There are plenty of people in the country that don't think this team is as good as we do, but they probably don't understand how dangerous RPI is even with their injuries.

New Yankee Candle scent: Winning. Smells good doesn't it?

Awesome weekend to restore order. Garteig was great, the scoring was back. Onto a home and home with Merrimack next weekend. I'll be heading to North Andover for the Saturday game.

Excellent weekend. They came out flying tonight and RPI could never find their legs. We were winning battles on both ends of the ice and seemingly moving the puck at will. A couple of blemishes giving up the 2 PPG's, but otherwise a solid effort all around.

No doubt in my mind that the best Bobcat ALL weekend was Van Brabant. A solid performance for sure. Garteig was as good as we've seen this season as well. I think the weekend went a long way to solidify his confidence level.

They gutted out a tough win last night and RPI had nothing for us tonight. Great home sweep! :cool:

Some other scores not completed in the BCHL and some have not been reported in the USPHL.

Awesome weekend. We finish the weekend 4th in Pairwise after starting tied for 6th. Good to see a half dozen goals tonight and Garteig posting a good weekend. Hopefully we take this momentum in to next weekend. Haven't lost to a tea, from HE in over 2 years.

Another goal for Landon Smith today his 36th of the season.


Johnny DeRoche also played today and had 1 goal and 5 assists.

#5 in the polls this week and more importantly #4 in the pairwise rankings which is the key to keeping us in that Bridgeport Regional. Though if Yale makes the tournament which seems likely at this point and they are a #4 seed we will be shifted elsewhere. Hopefully they would switch Quinnipiac & BC and not send out out West. Though if Yale is higher than a #4 seed we may have to potentially face them for a trip to Philadelphia if we are placed in the Bridgeport Regional. Its a long way off but fun to look at early scenarios.

Congrats to the jones twins for being nominated for the Hobey. If we were smart we'd throw our support behind one and forget about the other or they'll both have no shot

I was thinking the same thing except I don't believe either one has a legitimate chance. It's Johnny Hockey's to lose IMHO.

Let Johnny Hockey win the Hobey Baker award. I'd rather have a National Championship banner hanging in the Bank instead.

Absolutely neither has a chance. Johnny or Greg Carey are the only two people that can win. But there's some value in getting another player into the top 10 I think. And remember they have to bring three guys to Philly. Might as well help them cut costs and bring a player whose team will already be there ;)
