2012 Women's Worlds

Re: 2012 Women's Worlds

Just got home last night! We had a great time in Burlington (car trouble notwithstanding, but I am not going to litter this thread with my car trouble story), and what a great Gold Medal Game ... back and forth, had us fans on the edges of our seats all night. Congrats to Team Canada for winning Gold! I knew Team Canada would be ready to go and that the 9-2 win was kind of an aberration. Team USA played a great game themselves, they just came up short. And as if the game wasn't enough, after it was over, I got to meet DC78-82 and Hux! Great meeting you two! I agree with the story in the Burlington Free Press, I think they did a great job with this event! What a long drive, though (LOL)! For the first time in my life, I tried 5-hour Energy, and everyone is right about that stuff ... it's nasty (haha)! We sure had a great time, though! One of these days, I need to save the coin to be at Worlds all week!

She was an incredible player at UMD (and a pretty good coach, too) and is one of the nicest people in the game. She's earned some hardware along the way and it's been fun watching her success over the years.

After watching the highlight clip posted by Arm I had this comment.......Wowlette..... on the Ontario Blog, just to quiet the "pundits" who were calling for the heads of the Vets after the 9-2 loss.

I was looking at the active player pool

http://www.usahockey.com/uploadedFi...Pool/December 2011 Active Player Pool WNT.pdf

It needs to be updated. But my question is why is Sarah Erickson not on that list? Who else should be added or deleted?

Vetter, Shaus, Potter, Thatcher, Lawler, West, Foley, #4, Engstrom, Prough, Wheelhouse need to be removed/ retired. If this list is going to be the top players than that is how I call it.

Because you are such an expert, it shall be done.
