I would bet he actually doesn't know who they are.You post on a college hockey Internet board. Your nerd card is already established. Stop pretending otherwise.

He doesn't know who Kirk is?
.....I don't know what that is supposed to mean, but I don't know who those people are.You post on a college hockey Internet board. Your nerd card is already established. Stop pretending otherwise.
Most famous "Kirk" that I can think of is Kirk Gibson, maybe Kirk Douglas. He doesn't know who Kirk is?

We're rather close to a Kirk/Piccard or Tom Baker/David Tennant argument erupting.
(which I would join)
Who? I really don't know who any of those people are...
I know Kirk/Picard because I liked Star Trek TNG, but I don't know Baker/Tennant. However, since Jon posted it, I'm assuming it's a Dr. Who thing. You post on a college hockey Internet board. Your nerd card is already established. Stop pretending otherwise.
I have never watched Star Trek, and the only Dr. Who I have ever seen is when the girlfriend has watched episodes she DVR'd at my house. I didn't get it, so I just found other things to do when she watched. I don't recall a character named Baker or Tennant though, I just remember some guy they called Doctor.I know Kirk/Picard because I liked Star Trek TNG, but I don't know Baker/Tennant. Jean Luc Piccard's home run against the A's in the 1988 WS was a awesome. Especially when Tommy Lasorda did a Klingon war dance and Orel Hershieser got emotions despite being a robot.
I think I just killed this conversation.
What's there to talk about? Hirings and firings are all quiet for the moment, there's a Superbowl coming that doesn't appear to have many people excited, and it's still more than a week away. If you'd like, we can discuss steroid use detection, then again, that's some more science fiction for you.Are you sallies going to talk football or science fiction? Cheeseheads and Jerry Rice!!!
at least it's not Cowboys-Patriots.there's a Superbowl coming that doesn't appear to have many people excited,
I tend to think the 4th Doctor (Baker) is the best of the classic series of Doctor Who. I do like Tennant (10th), but Matt Smith is right up there for me.
