2012 NFL Season: 15 Yard Penalty For Playing Football (c)

Re: 2012 NFL Season: 15 Yard Penalty For Playing Football (c)

Worth noting is that the AFC has the top three picks in April's draft and 9 of the first 12. This has been brewing for a few years but really showed itself this season, as the middling to weak AFC teams were just absolutely awful. The NFC seemed so much stronger top to bottom. The AFC teams will have to use this draft to restore some balance.

How badly is Harrison Smith hurt? Can Winfield come back? How ticked is Green Bay?

These are the things that we need to know.

Harrison will play. Bigger issue will be Winfield.

Although this is one of those irrelevant facts that love to be thrown around, last Minnesota road playoff game was at Lambeau when Randy went full moon!

And Joe Buck is still butthurt about that.

MN is undefeated versus GB in the playoffs.

One of the local radio guys here (Paul Charchian) yesterday described Joe Buck's PBP calling perfectly yesterday. He said "It always sounds like I'm supposed to be grateful that Joe isn't up on his sloop somewhere with his ascot on and his sailing rig, and that he lowered himself to come do the games for us little people..."

Coincidentally, the audio of the Moss "mooning" clip was played after that quote. :D

We lost to Philly on the road the next week.

Ray Lewis to retire after this season, per ESPN.

There was also that game against the Saints in 2009.

The last Minnesota road playoff WIN was at Lambeau. Green Bay is also 2-4 in their last 6 playoff games at Lambeau...both wins coming against Seattle.

What I find most interesting about this matchup is that Minnesota is probably the team hoping for awful weather at Lambeau. That being said, I don't remember the last time Minnesota won a road game played at night in primetime.

Anyway, I think it will be a good game. Whoever wins the turnover battle likely wins the game.

Surely there will be more of this on Saturday night (no that is not me):

I think Ryan is trolling everyone. Nobody can be that ridiculous in that visible a manner and not be doing it in order to provoke a reaction.

That or it's the daily news looking to sell more papers and get more clicks on their website.

I'm anxious, nervous, and excited for tomorrow night. To take from KFAN today, I'm going to have high aspirations and low expectations. Skol Vikings!

Ditto. I get to be a Vikes fan THREE times this year! So pumped.

I am nervous as hell. Not because of expectations of winning but because if they do lose it's to the biggest a-holes on the planet. :)
