2012-13 Tournament Thread. Lakeside and Mountains! Who wins? + Point @ Adrian

Re: 2012-13 Tournament Thread. Lakeside and Mountains! Who wins? + Point @ Adrian

Amherst vs Plattsburgh Have not seen a Dlll game since my son graduated two years ago. Going to watch Amherst play this evening. Unfortunately it is in Plattsburgh. Would have been more entertaining when I was trolll in residence on these boards. Upside is I will get to see the one, the only, legendary Bob Emory coach. I am aquiver with anticipation. Well we know one thing, it's all "a work in progress"

Never heard of Emory, but good luck anyways.

And From the NESCAC thread:

You hit the nail on the head. Beany is a wanker of the First Order.

An equal opportunity troll - I'm sure he has something to say about "MacShane," too - that would give him the Primelink coach trifecta :D

From our friends in the Plattsburgh State SID office via twitter:

Wesleyan leads Elmira 1-0 after one.

Not sounding good for the "Souring" Eagles who, as usual, are playing one of the tougher schedules in the county, but this time are going to need to step it it up. That is, of course their pattern. Historically, they have used the sharpening they get with a tough NC schedule to bring it on down the stretch.

10+ freshmen...questions in goal...undiscplined...slow...

Not a good combo to set up for a successful season in the ECAC west.

Plattsburgh has 10+ freshman and they are doing fine. Maybe coach needs to bench players if they keep taking all these penalties.

MacDonald had a pretty good Sophomore year, but hasn't been the same since. There is always next year right!

Wesleyan defeats Elmira 5-2 for third place in the Cardinal Classic.

Re: 2012-13 Tournament Thread. Lakeside and Mountains! Who wins? + Point @ Adrian

With the two tournament losses making them 2-6 in their last 8 games, Elmira isn't looking very sharp with Oswego coming to town. They must really be looking forward to the home-and-away series against Morrisville in two weeks.
