Former SLU player Brandon Bollig drops 'em. You heard it here first.

You forgot the part where Torres hides behind a linesman.

Bollig could/would rip his arms off, but Torres will just turtle.

Yea, that's who would answer the bell for the Hawks... Even though he's our "enforcer", he lacks an edge, IMO... Yea, I do wish we still had John Scott... He can't skate, but dude understood what needed to be done...

Re: 2012-13 NHL Thread. Fehr Thee Well??

Never thought you'd wish you'd kept John Scott, did ya? :p

I always liked Scott. Was definitely not one of the ones whining about a waste of a roster spot like some Hawks fans.

Only problem is that the refs started looking for him in situations like this. They'd just give him a 10 for stepping on the ice.

Nobody wanted to fight that guy. Don't remember him ever losing and he just beat guys down hard.

Still can picture how ginormous he looked on the KC ice when we'd play Tech.

John Scott

This video is ridiculous, but check out 1:08 for John Scott. Knowing how destructive this guy could be to someone's face and then seeing this made me chuckle...

Tim Thomas traded to the Islanders for draft picks. At least the Bruins still have Joe Thornton.

Wait a minute, I'm missing something here... ?!?!?

You think he's dangerous on the ice, get him behind the wheel of an SUV...

I guess Thomas doesn't have to worry about going to to the White House again. :D

Anyways, I hope Torres gets some sort of comeuppance. This is another example of why the instigator needs to die a horrible death.

He looks different since the lockout...

Re: 2012-13 NHL Thread. Fehr Thee Well??

It'll be interesting to see how the Hawks handle Raffi Torres tonight... Most of Chicago wants someone to Bertuzzi him... Even though this team seems to be more willing to stand up for themselves (See Duncan Keith standing up for the hit on Jamal Mayers on Tuesday), I just don't see it happening... Not sure if it's direct orders from Coach Q or the players just not being very physical...

The "finesse" system has won us a ton of games, so I guess I can't really complain... It's just times like this where it can get frustrating...

There's opportunities in the flow of the game ... and I hope the Hawks take advantage of it. This is no time to lose focus ... (that said, a letdown would not be surprising after 10 unbeaten).

Kaner continuing his video game like exhibition.

Nobody better at the moment. His pass to Bolland was sickness.

Re: 2012-13 NHL Thread. Fehr Thee Well??

After 1 the Hawks are using the scoreboard to serve a nice dish of revenge... 4-0 Hawks... Mayers challenged Torres a few minutes into the game and he knew it was coming... Phoenix taking too many stupid penalties here... Hoping that continues...

Re: 2012-13 NHL Thread. Fehr Thee Well??

I see there are still plenty of problems with the Gamecenter Ice Tracker connectivity while games are in progress.

Who was the hottie in the Vancouver jersey that they kept showing. Schroeder's girlfriend or sister?
