and UMass-Amherst plays again Tuesday night..........weird. I know HAA had an event on Saturday night because my sister sent me pictures of their NC banners:eek::mad:

BU probably got home about 2-3 a.m. Saturday morning from Vt. Would be fine by me, but I expect anyone BU would have had a real problem with a Saturday game, day or night. ;)

Nothing happened this weekend to suggest someone joining the big three.....maybe some life in Lowell perhaps ? PC and Amherst in the mix too but after that its not looking good.

Holy hell. The Mayans were short a few weeks. I think tonight was the end of the world when it comes to Hockey East.

Game results are weird, weirder, and weirdest. You decided which is which.

I'm still trying to figure out what's more of an amazing occurrence: a large meteor hitting Earth or Merrimack College in sole possession of first place. What's more impressive, they both happened on the same day.

they got hot and UNH and BC came back to the pack. Good for MC. BC played a great game last night i thought, all things considered (suspension and getting there late, questionable calls) but hey, MC tied it up late and won in OT. Give 'em credit

there was a questionable call against mc couple weeks ago vs uhn (these things equal out over a season... can't expect it during a game! or a period!! :D )

Look at the Hockey East standings right now, and tell me it's not more exciting when only the top 8 teams qualify.

100% agree. HE wasn't broke and they are "fixing" it adding ND and the other school and they are going to "fix" the tourney too, great

Trying to remember the last time we had the standings this close ... 4 points separating 1st through 6th (as of right now anyway). This is fantastic.

Can't wait till we get every team making the playoffs, so this whole fight for positioning is all pretty much irrelevant. :rolleyes:

In general I agree but it wont have an impact on jockeying for home ice or 5th or 6th. That will still be very important for PWR, etc. It's the race at the bottom that really becomes meaningless.

If I was in the bottom half (which we will be if things continue at this pace) I'd try like crazy to avoid that quick flight to Indiana!!
