2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

Buckeyes have gotten right back in it with two in the 3rd. All tied at two!

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

Cornell scores in OT on the PP to win 2-1.
Live stats say that the penalty and the game-winning goal were both at 3:22 of OT. Did the power play take less than 1 second to convert? Or was it a penalty shot or a delayed penalty call and not an actual PP goal?

I think they just forgot to update the time on lives stats. The penalty was called, and Cornell scored on the following shift.

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

At the second intermission, North Dakota and Minnesota-Duluth are tied 1-1.

But more interesting than the score may be the offsetting major-game misconduct penalties that occurred in the second period. UND's Tanja Eisenschmid was penalized for contact to the head and UMD's Brienna Gillanders went off for a check from behind, both happening at the 10:10 mark. UMD had just had 1:34 on a 5-on-3 power play just before that happened.

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

Make it 3-3 between BSU and MSU. Bemidji has surrendered another 3-0 lead.

EDIT: But they go back ahead 4-3 on a Sadie Lundquist goal.

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

Josefine Jakobsen scores for North Dakota to give them a 2-1 lead over Minnesota-Duluth with 1:48 to play in regulation.

That was the first of 4 goals in the final 1:48... Jakobsen added an empty-netter to make it 3-1, but Minnesota-Duluth scored twice with an extra-attacker. The last goal came with 0.2 on the clock.

And UND got called for a penalty on the game-tying goal. Now 3-3, going to OT, with a full power play for UMD.

Is anyone, ANYONE at all, in the UConn administration aware of what is going on with this team? For the players sake I hope something turns around very soon for them.

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

NoDak kills the OT penalty time, and Monique Lam scores with 1:52 remaining to defeat Minnesota-Duluth, 4-3.
