2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

Re: 2012-13 D1 Scores and Results

BC 6 - PC 1 FINAL

Shots 47 to 17 for BC

PC competed in the first when they moved the puck. BC has a lot of talent and move the puck effectively and patiently. Hopefully the young Friars learned from the game stay out of the box, move the puck and deny the pass to the front of the net. Bryant who played well left the game after 5-1 and other freshman Morse finished in goal for PC and made some nice saves. Boyles was in net and got the win for BC.

RIT 1 - Colgate 1 after 2 periods. Live Stats and Video not working...AGAIN

Good for Maine - a win is a win and they have been having some struggles lately! The UNH over BU game was fun to watch and the Lady Cats got the job done with a well deserved and much needed W as well. The Terriers lacked a little bite with Poulin outta the line-up.

PC 5 - UCONN 3

After trailing 3-0 early in the second PC switched goalies and stormed UCONN scoring 5 unanswered goals - the final goal was and ENG.

PC will need to start faster versus UNH tomorrow!!

RIT 2 - Syracuse 2 OT final.

Very nice game to watch. Shots were a bit misleading in that RIT did have more scoring chances and Drinkwater was very good, but the Orange had long sustained bouts of pressure, hemming RIT in, but without alot of shots on net. These 2 teams are fairly well matched and should have a nice battle for the number 3 spot in the division.
