Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs IV: Rome is Burning

I want one. Are they for sale at that website listed when I quoted this? I will go there after work and buy one if they're for sale.

$17.99

Also, the Red Sox moved the Saturday game to 7:10 to accommodate the parade and the Bruins will be honored on the field before the game.

What kind of prudish Canuck wears panties under her skirt the night of Game 7. This girl lacks foresight.

edit: thanks Priceless. Ordering one when I get home from work.

They shall name the baby Roberto:

While the picture isn't photoshopped, it's not entirely organic. Those two have been pictured at other places in Vancouver making out, and there's a photo on MSNBC of the couple preparing for this picture, with 2 or 3 assistants helping them. What they're selling, I have no idea, but it sure is a creative ad campaign.

Glad to see the Red Sox know who runs this town. Lol at Vancouver, then again, if I lived there, I'd be angry too.

TV Ratings were huge. Not sure if this was mentioned. NBC had 10 million viewers, CBC just under 9 million, and RDS had 1 million viewers!!

Thats 20 million people in North America!

The game earned a 43.4/64 in Boston, the best for a hockey game since records began being kept for the market in 1991. That's higher than any game in the Celtics' last two NBA finals.

Ratings represent the percentage of all homes with televisions tuned into a program. Shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time.

A 64 share is ridiculous.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but Marty St. Louis was apparently in attendance in Vancouver, wearing a Thomas B's jersey.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs IV: Rome is Burning

Bettman should give a LeBron speech and say that all those that booed him will still wake up with the same problems they had the night before. :D

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs IV: Rome is Burning

Looking at the NHL's store versus the USCHO store... is it just me or are different bruins champions merch available on each site?

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs IV: Rome is Burning

Caught some of the CBC broadcast today. While I've heard plenty of people say the CBC announcers are homers/terrible, man, their coverage of the whole thing blows NBC out of the water.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs IV: Rome is Burning

Easy solution for Vancouver...don't televise the game on a big screen in the downtown area anymore. Might not stop all the crap that happened, but would definitely help.
Yeah, that would have most of the people more packed into bars, or staying home. Would have kept a big mass of people from getting together to start trouble.

This sure looks organic! OUCH
