It's over.

Boston, Sports Town USA. Last 10 years they've got a title in all 4 major sports. And heck BU, and BC have NCAA titles as well. That's one heck of a sports city.

Me? I live in a black hole.

Both teams played over 100 games to reach a seventh game of the Cup Finals. Frankly, this game has been largely anticlimactic. Vancouver won some low scoring close games early in the series. Since then it's been all Boston. I was hoping for a compellingly close, competitive game tonight, but it hasn't presented itself. Here's an early congratulations to Boston and a condolence to Vancouver.

"Remember: your enemy is not going to play fair" Is he talking about that ring movie, or the Canucks?

I hear ya. Other than UW in 2006 and the Packers this year, Wisconsin has been as well...

Hey now, the Twins have failed <strike>admirably</strike> against the Yankees in the postseason and that counts for something... right? Right? *crickets*

And lest we forget that one season where the Wild mattered in April.

The Wild need to lose enough for once so they can get some real draft picks. Instead they're going to hire Jacques Lemaire two after firing the up and coming coach and win just enough to lose.

I heard MacTavish was the number one possibility. Which doesn't make feel a whole lot better.
