Boston was in a tight spot there...if Philly has a few good shifts after the game is cut to 5-3, who knows.

But they responded beautifully, with 3 solid shifts, and a goal by Marchand. 6-3 Boston.

Philly needs a goaltender that doesn't suck complete butt. Maybe signing Nabokov when they had him for 36 hours instead of letting him leave and trading for Versteeg. It's kind of absurd that they've won 4 playoff series in the last two years.

So you're saying if Philly had a goalie who sucked an extraordinary amount of butt, almost total butt, close to an entire two cheeks of butt, but not the whole butt, that part of the Flyers' game would be improved. I think you're on to something, no ifs ands or buts about it. :D

You know - I bet if you put $500 on Vancouver in every game this series, giving a goal and a half, this series would be positively electric.

The 3rd period would be unreal.

Canucks with a paltry 10 shots on net. Nashville doing a good job deflecting/blocking shots.

Hile arena itself isn't that much to write home about, the music selection between periods and during tv timeouts, etc is fantastic.
